just a few miles south of Padstow and is part of the "seven bays
for seven days" grouping of beaches with Constantine, Trevone and
Treyarnon all close by. The tidal range is up to seven metres which provides
interesting beach conditions with rocky headlands and pools being exposed
at low tide. The cliffs are rich in wildlife and to the north of the bay
protected by national trust ownership. To the south west it is a relatively
short work along the coast path to the famous Bedruthan Steps. Beyond
is the busy town of Newquay and the famous Fistral Beach. </font></p>
<p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2"> Gull Cottage itself,
is situated adjacent to the North Cornwall coastal path and just one hundred
metres from the beautiful Golden Burn beach. It offers comfortable accomodation
and exceptional coastline and sea views which can be enjoyed at all stages
of the tide. The convenient village shop at the head of the bay can be
accessed by the coastal path in just a few minutes.<br>

The nearby and busy harbour town of Padstow with its internationally renowned
seafood cuisine is popular throughout the year and many of Cornwall's
main tourist attractions are within easy reach. Access to North Cornwall
is now much improved with regular flights from London to Newquay airport
and short breaks in this part of Cornwall are now easily entertained with
the convenient Friday change over at Gull Cottage.</font></p>
